A commissioned folding picnic table made from Nyatoh. This piece was specifically requested for a newly wed couple to use on their honeymoon, they even had it engraved with their names and wedding date upon receiving it.

The legs were constructed with mortise & tenon joinery and the hinges were recessed into the underside of the tabletop to allow the legs to lay completely flat. Additionally I added magnets to hold the legs in the closed position. Like all my other wood pieces that are in contact with food it is finished with mineral oil and beeswax.
